Sao Conrado is an advanced beach break in Rio de Janeiro with sand and reef bottom and waves in both directions. South swell and north wind deliver the best conditions; the spot hosted the 2024 CBSurf Dream Tour Rio championship final. Hazards include strong rips, undertow, localism, and pollution from sewage outfalls.
