Punta Rocas is a reef break near Punta Negra with a rocky bottom and advanced difficulty. Best conditions occur on low to mid tides with easterly winds and SSW swell, though rips, rocks, and crowds present significant hazards. The break hosted the Pan American Surf Games in 2015 and 2018, as well as surfing at the 2019 Pan American Games.
