Palmas is an advanced sand beach break near Governador Celso Ramos that works on both left and right waves in easterly swells and southwest winds. Strong rip currents, shallow powerful barrels at size, and crowds define the challenging conditions here. The spot hosts the Circuito Catarinense de Surf Pro.
