Conceição

Conceição is a sandy beach break that ranks among the most consistent peaks on Fernando do Noronha, known for producing smaller, more manageable waves compared to the island's more powerful breaks like Cacimba do Padre. Wave heights typically range from 4 to 8 feet during the peak season (December through March), with the break working equally as both a left and right-hand peak. The waves tend to close out above 8 feet, and the beach is valued for allowing a fuller range of maneuvers, making it one of the more accessible spots on the island.

The break works best with south-southeast offshore winds and groundswells from the north-northwest direction. February onward brings especially consistent conditions. Mid-tide offers the most reliable window, though the high-tide period can also produce rideable waves on the sandy bottom. Crowds remain light at this location.
