The 5150 was a Nathan Fletcher brain child to create a daily driver quad that minimized length and maximized skateboard like features in small to medium sized waves.
The 5150+ option has traditional nose which was a solution for Nathan to add nose rocker in steeper sections and more critical waves. Between the the nose two options the longer outline of the 5150+ allows for a slightly more rear footed approach and can be surfed both as a quad and tri fin.
