About
The Pig Pin is the natural evolution forward from the 1958 Pig. Similar in outline to the ‘58 Pig, with the wide hips and similar nose, the Pig Pin features a pintail as opposed to a square tail and is offered with two different rail configurations. The pintail design allows for some edge in the tail which speeds up and cleans up its turning ability and down the line projection to get around sections and improve cutbacks. The standard 50/50 rail gives the board the traditional feel of the time period. The modernized down rail option improves the overall performance of the board and livens it up, allowing for quicker and easier rail to rail transition and increased down the line and trim speed. Ridden exclusively as a single fin and offered in sizing from 8’0” to 11’0” the sweet spot for the Pig Pin is the 9’0” to 10’0” range and can be customized to suit your individual needs. Like all my models the Pig Pin is completely handshaped and can be glassed any way you like from a clear sanded finish to full color with a gloss and polish… custom surfboards created by one pair of hands.
