Roger Hinds Surfboards

Roger Hinds is a North Shore, Hawaii-based surfboard shaper who has been hand-crafting boards for four decades, beginning on the North Shore in the 1970s with Country Surfboards and Lightning Bolt. Known for meticulous, completely hand-built surfboards and the Tunnel Hustler design for big-wave venues like Sunset and Pipeline, he was the first to provide US Blanks with production plug designs after Clark Foam's closure. Hinds won the Icons of Foam shape-off competition back-to-back in 2014 and 2015, and continues to shape custom boards.
