About
The Lifter is a lively twin fin for performance midlength surfing, with flow and trim on tap. Surfing from the center emphasizes speed and glide; surfing from the tail emphasizes turns.
Features
- Bottom: a triplane with light single-concave entry blending to vee through the tail. Four channels begin near the midpoint, deepen between the fins, then soften toward the tail; they act more like multiple concaves as more water moves under the board, increasing control despite the loose twin-fin feel.
- Template: a bump creates a straighter middle rail line for trim and glide and reduces tail area for control when the waves get good. Some shorter designs use two tail bumps to reduce that area further.
- Deck and foil: the flat deck reaches an edge that drops into the rail, providing paddle volume with less overall thickness. A thinner nose foil keeps swing weight down and helps the board respond off the tail.
- Fin options: upright twins for tighter-radius turns and responsiveness; keels for more drive and speed; twinzer setups pair small single-tab side bites forward with upright twins or a small keel.
