Jive Surfcraft is a custom surfboard shaper in Ojai, California, founded by Jacob Ells, who brings an unconventional background of snowboarding and laser engineering (VCSEL semiconductor research) to board design. Known for avant-garde outlines, intricate hand-airbrushed artwork, and unconventional foam distributions, each Jive board is hand-shaped and hand-laminated by Jacob himself. Notable designs include the Lifter (a performance mid-length) and the Disco (finless).
