The QuarterSpeed

The model that put G&S on the map in 1963. Designed by Larry Gordon & Floyd Smith with the input from Skip Frye and Mike Hynson, the Quarter Speed's main feature was having the wide point moved close to center for increased control and easier turning from the middle trim position. A great all-around board made for a wide range of skill levels and surf conditions that offers the perfect blend of speed and maneuverability. Features a medium wide outline with semi blunt nose, wide point near center with semi parallel rails and curved hip in the tail for quick smooth turns. Rails are "user friendly" with full 50/50 throughout for stability.
