About
The KatWalk is a longboard developed by Chris Darby with G&S rider Mele Saili, drawing on the Classic Noserider and Floyd Smith’s Perfecto. Its rounded, slightly pulled-in nose leads to hips that widen subtly toward a broader diamond tail, aiding quick pivot turns and nose riding. The design aims for stable trim, early entry, paddle power, and smooth transitions, especially in knee- to head-high surf. Mele Saili describes it as having smooth early entry, strong paddle power, and hips for smooth turns while retaining lift for nose rides.
