Toudaishita is a sandy beach break on Tanegashima Island in Kyushu, located near Minami-tane (South Tanegashima Town). The break receives swell from the SE and S with best winds from the N and NW. Strong currents and hollow, closeout waves pose hazards, and beach access is occasionally closed during rocket launches.
