Southbourne is a beginner beach break near Bournemouth with a sandy bottom and waves accessible from both directions. It works best with southwest swell and northerly winds at any tidal stage. The spot features a powerful shorebreak capable of breaking boards in large swell, along with groynes that present hazards.
