Short Point is a beginner-friendly beach break near Merimbula on the South Coast of NSW, with a sandy bottom that works best in WNW winds and accepts swells from the NE direction. The break handles waves from both directions and can draw crowds when conditions are favorable, with sharks reported in the area.
