More about Punta Ositos
Punta Ositos, also called Punta Lobos, is a right-hand point break built on exposed reef located a couple miles from El Cardon in Baja's Central region. It is one of seven notable point breaks in this area known collectively as the Seven Sisters. The wave works best on west and northwest swells, with larger southern swells blocked by Isla Cedros and surrounding landmass to the south.
Like other breaks in this area, Punta Ositos requires a long and difficult drive over rough terrain to access, with no services or supplies available anywhere nearby. The remote location, exposed reef, and challenging approach road make this a destination primarily for experienced travelers well-prepared with fuel, water, and supplies.
