Portreath is a beginner-friendly beach break near Redruth in Cornwall with a sandy and rocky bottom. The spot works best during low to mid tides with NW swell and SE wind, producing waves in both directions. Watch for rocks in the lineup, crowds, and shoredump at high tide.
