Porto Covo is a beach break near Sines in southern Portugal with a sand and rock bottom that works in both wave directions. The spot handles NW swell best in ENE winds during mid tide. Watch for submerged rocks at both ends of the cove—stick to the middle—and expect moderate crowds.
