More about Playa San Pedro
Playa San Pedro is a sandy beach break with cobblestones lining its north end, producing both left and right-hand waves. Waves are most consistent during winter when northwest swell combines with northeast offshore wind, though the break works across all tidal stages year-round. The break produces mellow, rolling surf suited to bodyboarding and recreational riding rather than high-performance surfing.
The beach spans a quarter-mile expanse bordered by a reed lagoon and framed by rock promontories at each end. Located four miles south of Todos Santos, access requires a 1.3-mile maintained dirt road from Highway 19 near Km 58, with parking approximately 200 yards from shore. The access gate closes at dusk. The site draws mainly local fishermen and receives minimal tourist traffic; wild horses occasionally visit the beach, and the shore connects southward to Playa Pescadero.
