More about Pescadero

Pescadero is a reef break about 8 kilometers south of Todos Santos, with a strong right-hand peak and secondary left-hand option that form A-frame shapes. Waves typically run waist-high to overhead, and the break extends for roughly 100 meters over rock and sand. The spot works best with west-southwest swell combined with northeast wind, and functions consistently year-round, though January offers the cleanest and most predictable conditions. Intermediate to advanced surfers handle this spot best.

Access requires four-wheel-drive vehicles along rough terrain to reach the break at kilometer 64 on Federal Highway 19. The lineup is rarely crowded, populated mainly by locals and experienced travelers familiar with Baja. Sea urchins, strong currents, and exposed rocks create genuine hazards that demand respect and local knowledge.
