More about Las Palmas
Las Palmas is a reef break located between Punta Lobos and San Pedro, approximately 4 miles south of Todos Santos. The break performs best with northwest swell and light winds from the northeast or south, working most consistently during high tide. The wave produces clean, peeling rights with long, tapering faces when conditions align, though it remains relatively mellow and friendly for longboarders. Its performance depends heavily on specific swell and wind combinations, making it fickle and often unridden despite quality waves when conditions cooperate.
Las Palmas is situated on privately owned property accessible only between 6 AM and 9 PM. The beach is a quarter-mile stretch of sand backed by palm groves, with rocky outcrops flanking the north end. Access is via paved road from Todos Santos, though no public services exist at the site. Day use is permitted, though overnight camping is restricted.
