JD reef is a right-hand reef break near Norah Head in NSW's Central Coast. The break features shallow, sharp reef with rocks and generates powerful surf with heavy impact potential, suited only to advanced surfers. Best swell arrives from the south and southeast with southwest winds, though localism and sharks are hazards to be aware of.
