Jamaica Beach is a sandy beach break near Galveston, Texas, suitable for beginners. It works at all tide levels and accepts swell from both directions, with the best swell arriving from the southeast under northwesterly winds. Watch for rip currents and undertow, and note that there are no lifeguards on duty.
