More about Fishos
Fishos is a right-hand point break at Fishermans Beach that works across a mix of rock ledges and sand-prone banks. Wave quality improves from mid to high tide, particularly with southerly or southeasterly swell and northwest wind support. The break suits intermediate surfers, though it can draw crowds on good days and carries hazards from submerged rocks, localised rips, and occasional boat traffic near the ramp.
Access is via Fishermans Beach carpark at the boat ramp, which has recent upgrades including parking for vehicles and trailers, outdoor showers, and improved pedestrian infrastructure. Low tide exposes hardpacked sand; the area is also popular with families for its rock pools and shallow areas.
