More about El Brusco
El Brusco produces hollow A-frame peaks that require a solid north-northwest swell to generate clean barrels, working best at high tide. The break is most powerful and most consistent during winter and autumn, becoming nearly flat through summer. On larger swells it demands advanced technique and fitness, but on smaller days it offers acceptable conditions for intermediate surfers.
The spot sits at the eastern end of Tregandín beach in Noja, separated from the adjacent Berria beach by Punta El Brusco rocky outcrop. Free parking is available near the beach access point and clearly signposted from the main coastal road. The beach itself is wide (200 meters) and well-equipped with lifeguards during peak season, a beach bar, and adapted facilities.
