Coogee Beach near Sydney is an intermediate-level reef break with a sand and reef bottom that receives waves from both directions, with southeast swell offering the best conditions. The spot works best on westerly winds during low to mid tide. Surfers should be aware of hazards including dangerous shorebreak, shallow reef, rips, and rocks.
