Bronte Beach near Bondi is an intermediate beach break with sand and reef bottom that works on swells from both directions. Best conditions occur on southeast swells with westerly winds at high tide. Hazards include the Bronte Express rip current, rocks, and crowds during good swells, while the beach hosts the Bondi to Bronte Ocean Swim.
