Beares Beach is a reef break on New South Wales' South Coast near Bermagui, working best with west winds and southeast swell. The break picks up swell from both directions across its reef bottom. Experienced surfers only: strong rips, rocks, localism, and sharks present hazards on this unpatrolled beach.
