More about Beachport

Beachport is an exposed beach and reef break with both left and right hand waves, plus offshore reef breaks that add complexity to the lineup. The spot works year-round but peaks during winter, particularly in June, when southwest groundswells combine with north winds. It handles all stages of tide and is rarely crowded despite decent reliability.

The town sits in the Limestone Coast region about 311 kilometres southeast of Adelaide, with straightforward beach access at Beachport Surf Beach off Millicent Road, where there is free parking, toilets, fresh water taps, and a cold shower. Accommodation options including a nearby caravan park provide convenient access to the break.
