History
Wilderness Surfboards adapted George Greenough's high-aspect ratio flex fins and hull bottoms for stand-up surfing during the shortboard revolution. Founded in 1969 in New South Wales by George Greenough and Michael Cundith, the brand built its boards using Volan glassing with a 1½ inch rail lap.
