About
The rails have been lowered and refined compared to traditional mid-volume designs — not extreme, but tuned just enough to provide better bite, control, and hold in critical sections. This rail profile, combined with the pulled-in tail, keeps the board locked in on fast, hollow faces and prevents excess volume from getting in the way during hard turns or late takeoffs. Designed with versatility in mind, the FMTR performs exceptionally well as a thruster, but Timmy also fine-tuned it to work surprisingly well as a twin + trailer, making it equally fun and fast on smaller days. This dual-fin personality allows the board to transition seamlessly from punchy beach breaks to lined-up point surf. The FMTR was developed hand-in-hand with Timmy Reyes, shaped and refined swell by swell over the past year with one clear goal: create a shorter, more performance-driven board that can handle steep, hollow, powerful surf without forcing the rider into a longer step-up.
