Surfboards California by Christian Beamish

Christian Beamish is a California-based surfboard shaper who began hand-shaping boards in 1995 out of dissatisfaction with thin shortboards and now operates full-time from Carpinteria. He is known for designing high-performance custom boards ranging from single fins to his signature Beamish Twin hybrid keel, and for his big-wave surfing at Mavericks. Beamish is also an author whose 2012 memoir "Voyage of the Cormorant" documents his solo sailing and surfing adventure along the Pacific Coast, and he has contributed writing to The Surfers Journal.
