History
Slater Designs is best known for the Banana model, a board designed for good, hollow conditions with a pulled-in tail and significant rocker, first ridden by Kelly Slater at the 2015 Pipe Masters. Based in Florida, the brand was established in 2015 and incorporates Linear Flex Technology (LFT) using a 0.75-inch wide aerospace composite strip running down the centerline in place of a conventional stringer, combined with EPS blanks and entropy bio-resins.
