History
Ryan Sakal is a second-generation surfboard shaper based in Oceanside, California, trained in the craft by his father Ed Sakal. Starting at age fourteen, he has spent three decades shaping boards for major brands including Quiksilver and Billabong, and has collaborated closely with renowned shaper Chris Christenson since 2014. He returned to use the family name for his brand in 2020 after a period operating under his ARYSE Company label.
