Roy Sanchez Surfboards

Roy Sanchez is a San Diego-based surfboard shaper who has been building boards since 1981. Before establishing his own brand, he shaped blanks for decades at major manufacturers including Rusty, Channel Islands, Bing, and Christenson, credited as an instrumental craftsman helping these brands reach production capacity. Today he hand-shapes all boards under his own name, handling every step from foam shaping through glassing and finishing.
