History
Roland Surfboards is a California-based custom surfboard shaper founded by Roland Chocarro in 1979. The company combines hand-shaping expertise with CNC CAD technology and premium materials including epoxy, carbon fiber, and kevlar to produce precision-crafted custom boards. Roland has been supplying boards to shops under private labels for over three decades and has exported internationally to Argentina, Europe, and Japan since the late 1980s.
