Robin Prodanovich Surfboards (RP Surfboards)

Robin Prodanovich is a San Diego-based surfboard shaper who has been hand-shaping custom boards since 1968. He worked for nine years at Gordon & Smith Surfboards (1973–1982) as a primary shaper for Mark Richards' twin fin designs, including an opportunity to travel to Australia in 1980 for research and development. He founded RP Surfboards in 1981 and has continued shaping custom polyurethane and polyester boards for over 50 years. Though retired, he still operates on a limited basis through partnerships with local glassers.
