Roberto Ricci Designs (RRD) is an Italian-founded brand primarily known for windsurfing, kiteboarding, and SUP equipment, with surfboards as a secondary product line. Roberto Ricci became a pioneering figure in kiteboarding in the late 1990s, shaping among the world's first kiteboards after meeting Manu Bertin (a French pioneer of "Flysurfing") in 1994. RRD was the third brand globally to produce inflatable kites and the first to develop a wave-specific kitesurfing kite, establishing itself as an innovator across watersports disciplines rather than as a dedicated surfboard shaper.
