History
Rawson Surfboards pioneered the modern 'Gun' design in the early 1980s, developing the tri-fin thruster configuration for big-wave surfboards that was validated by Tom Carroll's 1991 Pipeline Masters victory on a Rawson three-fin. Based in Hawaii since 1966, the brand became known for its innovations in high-performance gun shapes tailored to the most demanding surf conditions.
