History
Proctor Surfboards, founded by Todd Proctor in 1992 in Ventura, California, crafts custom surfboards entirely by hand using premium materials and proprietary epoxy technology. Each board is personally designed through direct consultation with the surfer, tailored to their individual style and skill level. Known for meticulous handcraftsmanship and durability—their custom epoxy formulation creates boards with 2–3 times longer lifespan than standard polyester—Proctor remains owner-operated, with Todd involved in every phase of production from shaping through lamination and sanding.
