History
Critters Toy Co is a custom surfboard shaper founded by Caleb Moritz in 2017 (originally as Critters Surfboards before rebranding to expand). Moritz leveraged his professional background in CNC operating and aerospace fiberglassing work with Boeing to create professional-level custom surfboards tailored to riders' skill levels. The company, based in the Culver City/Westside area of Los Angeles, later brought in partner Cole Moser (who left a creative agency position) and now produces boards alongside an expanding clothing line.
