History
Cole Surfboards is a San Clemente-based shaper founded by Cole Simler in 1988 after years learning from master craftspeople at Hobie. Known for fast, aggressive hand-shaped boards and innovative quad-fin designs developed with rider Nathan Fletcher. Simler has shaped boards for progressive pros including Bruce Irons, Andy Irons, Nathan Fletcher, and Dane Reynolds.
