History
Chris Ruddy is a San Diego–based surfboard shaper who has shaped over 30,000 boards since starting his company in 1992. Known for custom designs including the Tubesock (a flat-rocker twin-fin nose rider) and the Shovel-tail Drifter, he learned his craft from industry figures including Skip Frye and John Holly. He now operates facilities in California and Utah, and shapes boards for both traditional surfing and wakesurfing.
