History
Blackbird Surfboards is a custom board shaper founded by Tim Crozier in Oceanside, California, known for taking a scientific and mathematical approach to design. Crozier is best recognized for the Owl model, a hybrid design featuring a distinctive outline that balances paddle ability with planing speed. He was the first shaper invited to the Center for Radical Education residency program in Dick Brewer's historic shaping bay.
