Beau DiFiore is a California-based surfboard shaper known for carving fins from salvaged skateboard decks—a practice he developed after moving to Venice Beach in 2019. He discovered that the tighter ply structure of retired skateboard decks produces finer-quality fins than standard fin materials. His boards are sold primarily through Mollusk Surf Shop locations in Venice Beach and Santa Barbara.
