Aloha

Aloha traces its origins to Sydney's Northern Beaches in 1978, with Tracks crediting Greg Clough as the founder. The label's later shaping history includes Jonno Cole, whose work is described in the magazine's account of Aloha's revival. That profile distinguishes Cole's heritage customs, shaped at Ewingsdale, from an overseas-made line distributed by The Surfboard Agency. It also describes his design work on polyurethane and epoxy models. In the interview, Cole recalls collecting technical material about concaves, fins and board shapes as a teenager and beginning with ding repairs.
