Alex Lopez is a hand-shaping surfboard manufacturer based in Oceanside, California, known for his Terrapin model—a wide-point-forward, beak-nosed single fin designed for versatile performance across varying conditions. Working exclusively with a Skil planer and inspired by San Diego shapers Rich Pavel and Ryan Burch, Lopez has dedicated over a decade to refining his craft alongside test-pilot Leah Dawson.
